Alan M. Cohen is an associate at Visser Shidlofsky, LLP. His practice is devoted to representation of developers, property owners, community associations and businesses in real estate matters including dispute resolution and litigation, sales and acquisitions, leasing, land use, eminent domain, property and casualty insurance, construction, and title matters. Mr. Cohen’s experience includes representation of corporate policyholders in disputes with their insurance companies, and Mr. Cohen has extensive experience in the areas of title insurance and commercial leasing. Mr. Cohen represents clients in state and federal courts in all aspects of litigation including trials and appeals. Mr. Cohen obtained a BS in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin, and he obtained a JD from the Louisiana State University Law Center where he was a member of the Moot Court Board. Mr. Cohen is admitted to practice law in Texas and in Louisiana.
